Who I Am
Hi, I’m Jeremiah Buchanan — a designer, fabricator, and lifelong creator rooted in the Southwest.
I grew up surrounded by nature, art, and architecture, long before the world was glued to screens. Back then, we played in the dirt, wandered into the woods without a care, and made our own fun with whatever we had on hand. My friend and I came from different but complementary worlds — his, architectural; mine, artistic. Together, we built toys, planes, trebuchets, even dug caves... and occasionally started a fire or two with fireworks in the desert. It was a good, clean, hands-on childhood that shaped who I am today.
That upbringing gave me one of the most important creative lessons: if you can imagine it, you can build it. I learned not to fear failure, but to explore, try, and learn. Today, the internet has only expanded those possibilities — you can teach yourself anything, and I have.
In my teens, I discovered a passion for cooking, which led me down a 15-year path in the culinary world. I went to culinary school, worked as a private chef, and eventually designed, built, and opened my own restaurant at twenty-four. I learned a lot — especially when that venture failed after a year. It was a hard but necessary lesson, and I carried it with me as I moved forward.
Returning to the Southwest later in life, I reconnected with my roots and dove into metalworking and 3D design. Over the last decade, I’ve built a career in fabrication — from running a small welding shop to working at one of the top fabrication studios in the region. I’ve fine-tuned my craft and embraced digital tools, allowing me to blend traditional skills with modern technology to create functional, beautiful, custom-built work.
Whether it’s concept design, metal fabrication, or bringing a wild idea to life, I’m here to help make it real.
Let’s build something together.
